# Stakeholding

Stakeholding is to postcapitalism, what equity is to capitalism. It is a relationship, like equity is in capitalism, but the focus is on commitment to support creativity and invention, not just seek yield on a financial position. Stakeholding focuses on the collective, joint commitments of investing and making certain things happen and recognizing them as valuable, rather than the private profit interest. See Reciprocal stakeholding.
